Licensed Psychologist with CBT Training Wanted at BUP Globen

Do you want to make a difference for children and adolescents in need of psychiatric specialist care? Then you should apply to us at BUP Globen! We are currently looking for a licensed psychologist with CBT training and a strong interest in child and adolescent psychiatry.

BUP Globen is a centrally located outpatient clinic for children and adolescents aged 0-17 and their guardians. The regional clinic for the deaf and hard of hearing is co-located with BUP Globen. Approximately 30 employees with highly specialized competence in child psychiatry work at the clinic. They are psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, and administrators. We work interprofessionally and base our work on BUP Stockholm's process maps as support in our assessment and treatment work.

Job Description

Your main tasks will be assessment, investigation, and treatment. You will work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and care partners. You are also expected to participate in our development work.

Qualifications

You who are applying should be a licensed psychologist with CBT training, and experience in child and adolescent psychiatric work, specialist psychiatric outpatient care, group therapy, and/or neuropsychiatric investigations is an advantage.

BUP Globen is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents from 0 to 17 years within Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we are approximately 1,200 employees who meet over 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families each year. The position will be filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • background checks are applied before a hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during hiring.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
